Visit our booths at the Saanich Fair!

When:
Saturday, August 30, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Sunday, August 31, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Monday, September 1, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Where: 1528 Stellys Cross Rd, Saanichton
Booths 16 and 17 (beside the BC Greens)

Why:  This is a great time for you to reconnect with the SGI Greens! Elizabeth May plans to be at our booths between 3-6 on Saturday, 12-4 on Sunday, and 10-4 on Monday. This is a great opportunity for you to meet and chat with her!  

What to bring:

Please consider bringing one or more guests or possible new members, so they can check out what a friendly group we are. We are eager to reconnect with our volunteers from past years, and always wish to add new folks.

Bring your children/grandchildren. We will have a face painter on hand at mid-day for 2-3 hours.

How can you help? Volunteers are needed for:

• Greeting the public at our tent. (You don’t need to be a Green policy expert!)
• We are still looking for volunteers.
• We may still need a face painter.
• You could be a back-up volunteer, in case someone cancels on short notice.

We also will be looking for volunteers for:

• The SGI Annual General Meeting on October 18.
• Someone interested in helping coordinate events and volunteers.
• SGI members interested in serving on the SGI Executive Committee.
