Why:
The next federal election will be in about a year (or less), so this is a great time for you to reconnect with the SGI Greens! Elizabeth May plans to be at our tent between 10-4 on Saturday, 12-4 on Sunday, and 10-4 on Monday. This is a great opportunity for you to meet and chat with her! Let’s re-elect Elizabeth in 2025! 

The next B.C. election is just over a month away, so we’re helping them generate some buzz by sharing a tent with them. Their local candidates will be there, giving you an opportunity to meet them, too. They are committed to a future where our children and grandchildren can thrive in a fair and sustainable world. Let’s elect the largest BC Green caucus in history! 

What to bring:
Please consider bringing one or more guests or possible new members, so they can check out what a friendly group we are. We are eager to reconnect with our volunteers from past years, and wish to add new folks well before the next election.

Bring your children/grandchildren. We will have a face painter on hand at mid-day for 3-4 hours.

How can you help? Volunteers are needed for:

• Greeting the public at our tent. (You don’t need to be a Green policy expert!)
• We are still looking for volunteers for Saturday 4-7 pm and Sunday 4-7 pm.
• We may still need a face painter.
• You could be a back-up volunteer, in case someone cancels on short notice.

We also will be looking for volunteers for:

• The SGI Annual General Meeting on October 26.
• We are looking for someone interested in helping coordinate volunteers.
