Top of the morning to you, and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

Yesterday I got a jump on being Irish with a pub event in Charlottetown with the PEI Greens. I could not imagine loving anyone more than Peter Bevan Baker–other than my husband of course! But you know what I mean. Peter is a saint of a man and he also blows a mean trumpet. As my private member’s bill, C-226, Fighting Environmental Racism, makes its way through last stages in the Senate, Minister of Environment Steven Guilbeault accepted an invitation from community activists whose initial work gave rise to the bill. Greetings from the road and the leaders’ tour with stops on Vancouver Island. If you are anywhere near Nanaimo today, please drop by for Seedy Sunday!
