Come and join Elizabeth May and our group on August 5 at Centennial Park on Wallace Road in Saanichton.

We are delighted to inform you that Johnathan Pednault, the Deputy Leader of the GPC, will be joining us for the picnic and looks forward to meeting everybody.

This event used to be a full potluck but the pandemic has changed that. Our EDA will supply trays of cheese and crackers, veggies, fruit and dessert as well as tea, coffee, cold drinks and water.

If you wish to bring a potluck dish of some sort, you are most welcome to do that. You will need to bring a serving utensil for the food.

As we strive for a zero-waste event, please bring your own utensils and if you are able to, a plate and cup.

Our location at Centennial Park provides ample opportunity to sit in the shade in the pavilion or in the sun and a playground for the little ones is right beside us. You may wish to bring your own lawn chairs. There is also a washroom and sinks on-site and parking is very convenient.

It is always wonderful to see our local Green members. Hope to see you there!
